Hyundai Inster Cross: the small electric city SUV dresses for the countryside
Hyundai presents the Inster Cross, a version of its new electric urban SUV that stands out for a special décor giving it a very adventurous look, including a roof rack as standard.

Hyundai wants to win over users looking for new forms of urban mobility with the new Inster, a small SUV just 3.8 metres long that aims to be a serious alternative to the Dacia Spring or the new Citroën e-C3. A car that we already know will offer two mechanical versions: the 71 kW (97 CV) one with a 42 kWh battery and a range of around 300 km, and a more powerful one with 84 kW (115 CV) and a 49 kWh battery, for which up to 360 km of WLTP range is announced. In addition, thanks to DC fast-charging compatibility at 120 kW, the Inster will be able to go from 10 to 80% battery capacity in half an hour.
These are not the Inster’s only arguments for carving out a place in a segment that will grow considerably in the coming years. The small SUV has a very original design and a strong technology offering, with features such as V2L functionality that enables bidirectional charging, a connectivity system with two screens, one for the instrumentation and another for the multimedia system, each measuring 10.5 inches, a digital key, ambient interior lighting…
Hyundai Inster Cross: ready for adventure
Now, just a few months before its launch on our market, where it will be available from January, Hyundai presents a new version called Inster Cross, with a very adventurous design.

This version will be distinguished by wider, rectangular-design bumpers, underbody protectors at the front and rear, 17-inch alloy wheels, roof bars and an exclusive green body colour, which joins the other five colours available, many of them with the option of a black roof. Another distinctive feature specific to the Inster Cross will be a platform that can be fitted onto the roof bars to act as a roof rack.
The Cross variant will be available with the same combination of engines and batteries as the Inster. The brand has not confirmed whether there will be differences in suspension settings or ground clearance for this more “adventurous” version, which will also feature exclusive décor details in its interior.
