If the Maybach S650 isn't enough for you... here comes the Brabus 900 version
The tuner Mercedes has worked on the Maybach S650, creating a more powerful and attractive version, and has also worked on other models of the S-Class

Not long ago, Mercedes Benz updated the flagship of its range, the Maybach S-Class, adding to the lineup the twin-turbo V12 engine used in the AMG S65. This has made the model even more appealing than it already was. But if that isn’t enough, it has now passed into the hands of Brabus, the brand’s tuner, which had a great time modifying the characteristics of this formidable vehicle, turning it into the BRABUS 900.
The Maybach S650 has received several modifications, the most notable being an increase in power up to 888 CV. To achieve this, Brabus took the 6.0-litre engine and enlarged it to 6.3 litres, changing some of the elements that shape it. New turbochargers, crankshafts, pistons, connecting rods and an improved exhaust system, so that all these changes take better effect.

On the exterior there are also aesthetic changes, which reinforce the car’s appearance as something more than the standard version. The aerodynamics have also been improved, and the interior offers a good list of options to suit the buyer, allowing the car to be equipped so that the driver feels at ease. All of this means that the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is 3.7 seconds and the top speed reaches 350 km/h.
To put these figures in context, this car weighs close to three tonnes, so the power produced by this combination of engine and aerodynamic elements helps to handle this car, whose look is as striking as its power and performance, as you can see in the image gallery.

BRABUS 900
After converting the Maybach S650, Brabus is not going to stop with this model, and other S-Class models will also benefit from these changes. The S600 and the AMG S65, which share the engine architecture with this one, will be next. Afterwards, work will be carried out on other smaller engines that are also part of the range. For example, the S560 will receive an update to its powertrain that will take it up to 650 CV, and the AMG S63 will reach 691 CV. In this case, being a much lighter car and with four-wheel drive , the result will be an even more impressive performance.
