A work vehicle, like the Transporter even in its leisure versions, doesn’t have to be boring, nor does it have to lack the possibility of customising it to each person’s taste. And this is where MR Car Design comes in, with an adjustable suspension kit for the Transporter.

The aforementioned kit raises or lowers the bodywork height by means of an electronic air system. The bodywork can be lowered by seven centimetres more than normal, or raised by up to 9 centimetres more, depending on the situation and the terrain to be driven over.

You can also add other MR accessories, such as chrome exhausts, a new set of wheels and tyres (2,000 euros each) and small tweaks to the ECU, which can give the engine up to 200 horsepower in total.

The truth is that I love these Transporters and, although I’m not one of those who customises, this is one of those vehicles that looks better customised than in its factory version.
