Infiniti news in Spain: FX "GT Edition", FX Vettel Edition and Q50

Infiniti brings us several updates on the range it currently has on sale in our country. A few days ago we told you about the Infiniti EX “GT Edition”, which complements the FX “GT Edition”. And the news regarding the latter is that it will stop being sold on July 31st or until existing stock of the model runs out.

The FX “GT Edition” can only be purchased with the 6-cylinder diesel engine, producing 238 hp, a 7-speed automatic gearbox and intelligent all-wheel drive. The equipment includes dual xenon headlights with adaptive lighting, dual-zone climate control with rear air vents, cruise control and speed limiter, electrically folding and heated exterior mirrors with electric adjustment, I-Key with intelligent entry and start, a sunroof and 20-inch alloy wheels with a double 5-spoke design. The price of the final version of the FX “GT Edition” will be €56,900.

The coveted FX Vettel Edition had a production run of just 150 units, 50 of them in Europe only, but three of them have been sold in Spain. An exclusive version with a 5-litre V8 engine, 420 hp and a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The lucky Spanish buyers who will receive their FX Vettel Edition have paid around €150,000 for it.

From September the new Q50 saloon will be available, equipped with a 2.2-litre engine producing 170 CV of power. The equipment will include, among other things, 6 airbags, stability control, cruise control and speed limiter, dual-zone climate control, cloth upholstery with leather bolsters, dual 8- and 7-inch touchscreens with Infiniti InTouch, a rear-view camera and dual USB ports. The price of the Q50 in Spain will be €34,900.

The latest change Infiniti has put into motion is ending production of the G Series saloon, although the coupé and convertible will remain in production. The decision not to build the G any longer does not prevent some examples from still being found at dealerships at special prices. For reference, the G was selling from €48,740.
