It's official: Citroën DS3 Racing

When we first showed you the first images of the Citroën DS3 Racing, we weren’t far off the mark with its exterior or its 200 CV engine, but the French brand has now revealed the details of this beast, the product of Citroën’s competition department, which will be present at the Geneva Motor Show in a few weeks.
The heart of the DS3 Racing is a 1.6 engine delivering 200 CV (similar to the one used by Mini), derived from the 1.6 THP of 150 CV, tuned by the competition department, but in addition the DS3 R has a chassis and settings that allow you to enjoy the more sporty driving, and the front and rear tracks have also been widened by 30 mm and the body height lowered by 15 mm, all to keep the DS3 glued to the asphalt.

As for the exterior, it comes in a single trim with grey and orange tones and several decals that enhance its sporty character. We don’t know whether more availability will follow later, since for now the model we see is a special edition limited to 1,000 units.
And the interior, of course, is also exclusive, with sport seats and a special finish, as well as a plate bearing the model’s serial number. Let’s hope we get more details on the prices of this special edition later on.
