Jaguar Land Rover Industry Other Sedans Salón de Detroit
Jaguar and Land Rover will be the first absentees at the NAIAS
Land Rover and Jaguar announce that they will not attend the NAIAS with new models in order to prioritize the New Delhi motor show.

Although this year the North American show (NAIAS) has registered a fairly large list of participants, unlike in previous years, the next show, and the first of the year, will see the withdrawal of Land Rover and Jaguar who, instead of going to the US, will swap the cold of Detroit for India, at the New Delhi show.
The reason lies in a fundamental motive. Both brands will give priority to a show that until now went almost unnoticed, but which in the future will be one of the main ones, together with those in Europe. Add to this that both brands have said that after the Los Angeles show they will have no model to show at the NAIAS, and you have the complete answer.
Jaguar has already shown the X-C16 Concept in Frankfurt, and Land Rover the Defender concept, among others, and little more to offer, apart from some new version of the DC100 that they will bring to Los Angeles and the repetition of models already seen.
While Land Rover and Jaguar comply with the directives of the Indian company Tata Motors, which prioritizes the show held in India, we can already get an idea of where the carmakers’ profits will be in the coming years.
