Jaguar I-Pace Black, the new version of the premium SUV that improves the model

This new version of the Jaguar I-Pace features several design elements that enhance its look, but also a very complete and effective equipment list.

If we say that the Jaguar I-Pace is one of the most popular and desired luxury electric SUVs in the world, we are not saying anything special. But let us tell you that a new version has just been unveiled, making it even more interesting and far more visually striking. The Jaguar I-Pace Black considerably raises the model’s standing, and not only by adding a few black details to the bodywork.

This new version of the British electric SUV also incorporates a range of add-ons that make it much easier to drive and, at the same time, more attractive. This finish is included in the S, SE and SH variants, and what stands out at first glance is the Black Pack, which includes a panoramic roof and darkened windows.

Added to this are 20-inch five-spoke wheels in glossy black that enhance the SUV’s appearance. The bodywork comes in an interesting range of colours, although the Aruba Black and Farallon Pearl stand out. It is here that this change and the step up in the car’s class become apparent.

More technology for the I-Pace

The Privi Pro infotainment system is adapted for use with electric cars. It provides all the navigation information and includes a list of nearby charging points, with their availability and even their price. It has a SIM card, so it can connect to the internet, and is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. And that is not all: it can keep two phones connected at the same time, and there is a signal booster to receive a good internet signal.

Another advantage in the cabin is the air filtration system, which keeps the interior air clean and free of external elements. An interesting feature is the ability to filter the air before setting off, so it is perfect by the time you get into the car.

The ClearSight digital rear-view mirror uses a rear camera that shows the images on a screen located behind the mirror. The driver can choose between the normal view and the camera image, so the view of what is happening behind the vehicle is always the most suitable.

The driver assistance systems are present in this variant of the model, and those used by the model it is based on are kept across every finish. The electric powertrain is also retained, with two motors delivering a total of 400 CV and a maximum torque of 696 Nm. The 90 kWh battery offers a range of up to 470 kilometres, and the price in Spain for this I-Pace Black variant is 86,280 euros.
