Jeep Renegade Impulse, the SUV inspired by the Loki series

The tie-up between car models and TV series and films is quite common. About two years ago the Jeep Renegade was launched with a special edition of Avengers: Infinity War, so it is no surprise that now a special edition inspired by the Disney+ series starring Tom Hiddleston, Loki is being launched.

The Marvel character serves as inspiration for the Jeep Renegade Impulse, which, in addition to an exclusive image, features the Impulse and Loki badges, giving visibility to both themes. It thus becomes a special edition of this American model, which remains linked to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and combines the passion for this saga of series and films with motoring.

A special variant

This version is based on the Jeep Renegade Limited and is finished in blue paint. Other exterior features include 18-inch alloy wheels and foldable, heated exterior mirrors. Inside, a storage tray has been added under the driver’s seat, an auto-dimming mirror and a waterproof mat for the cargo area.

As for the engine, this special version is equipped with a 1.6-litre turbodiesel engine producing 130 CV driving the front axle, or with the hybrid powertrain delivering 190 CV and all-wheel drive. The launch price of this version has not yet been made public, but it should be remembered that for the moment it is exclusive to the Italian market only and may not reach other European countries.

This is the smallest model in the Jeep range, but it is already known that soon a model positioned below it will join the brand’s lineup. It will arrive in 2022 and will be based on the Stellantis platform called CMP, which is also used on models from Citroën, DS, Peugeot and Opel.
