Jeep Wrangler Xtreme Recon

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most popular and well-known off-road vehicles, still being sold in the same way it was conceived in 1987 with its first generation. A 4×4 off-roader with great off-road capabilities.

The new version can be fitted to the four-door Wrangler Rubicon or the Wrangler Rubicon 392. Equipped with this package called Xtreme Recon, they become the best ally for those who want an off-roader capable of tackling almost any complicated terrain or trail.

We will not see the official presentation of this Jeep Wrangler Xtreme Recon Package at the Chicago Auto Show until July 14th. It is the first time in history that this modified Wrangler will feature 35-inch tires. These tires are signed by BF Goodrich and will be accompanied by 17-inch beadlock wheels.

Even better off-road capabilities

In addition to the new wheels, this Wrangler has been equipped with new suspension that allows it to increase its ground clearance to 328 mm, which is 40 mm more than before, and its water fording depth also increases to an incredible 853 mm. As the icing on the cake, there is a new axle ratio of 4.56:1, which improves its off-road capabilities, achieving an approach angle of 47.4 degrees, a breakover angle of 26.7 degrees and a departure angle of 40.4 degrees.

Jeep has already opened orders for customers to purchase the Xtreme Recon package, which will be produced at Jeep’s assembly plant in Toledo (Ohio), where production will begin in August of this year.
