KISS teams up with Mini to auction four Countryman models

To coincide with the New York Auto Show, a new special edition of Mini has been announced, this time based on the Countryman, which will be of interest to more than one fan of the rock band KISS, since Mini and KISS have joined forces to raise funds for Unicef.

The idea gives rise to four Countryman versions, each customised differently by one of the band’s members: Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer. The auction will be held on eBay starting next May 29th.

In addition to the auction, at Mini dealerships across the United States, a range of vinyl graphics is also available to fully decorate the bodywork of any Mini, and they can be ordered from right now.

Finally, all proceeds, both those obtained on eBay and those from the sale of vinyl graphics, will go in full to Unicef for various campaigns, although a large percentage is earmarked for the redevelopment of several areas of Japan affected by the earthquake more than a month ago.
