Lamborghini SVJ is shown under a possible convertible version

The Lamborghini SVJ appears in images in a possible Roadster version. One of the most successful supercars from the Italian manufacturer could go for this option.

The Lamborghini SVJ is the latest supercar created by the Italian team, and it is also the car that holds the current speed record at the Nürburgring within the category of production cars.

It was presented a few days ago at the Monterey Car Week. Its design and performance follow the line of the Aventador S, to which it adds some aerodynamic changes and mechanical improvements as well as an increase in power.

The Aventador SVJ benefits from its active aerodynamic system, which achieved great success in the Lamborghini Huracán Performance. It also features rear-wheel steering, which helps the handling of the car both at low speeds and when cornering under pressure. The engineers have optimised its 7-speed gearbox so that it adapts perfectly to the increase in power and torque.

Luxury performance

The SVJ has a 6.5-litre V12 engine that produces a total of 759 CV at a maximum of 8,500 rpm and 720 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. Its total weight is 1,525 kg. This monster manages to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 200 in 8.6. Its top speed is limited to a total of 350 km/h. As we can see, perfect performance for a supercar of this stature.

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will be limited to 900 units and its price is set at 349,116 € in Europe, tax-free. Its price in the USA will be $517,770.

With the recent information about its design, it was to be expected that someone would design a Roadster version. This design, based on the original model, has been carried out by Aksyonov Nikita and, truth be told, he has done a great job.

For now, Lamborghini has not confirmed anything about a roadster version for this model, but it would not be the first time that, through the initiative of one person, it ends up being carried out due to great success, its repercussion or at the request of the public.
