Lancia hands over a Thema to Fernando Alonso

Coinciding with the World Finals Ferrari, held at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Cheste (Valencia) on 1 and 2 December, Lancia presented Fernando Alonso with a brand-new Thema that will join the true collection of Italian machines he has received throughout his career with Ferrari.

The Lancia Thema given to Fernando Alonso is just one example of the four diesel variants sold in Spain of this saloon, derived from the North American Chrysler 300 platform. It is available with two 3.0-litre V6 engines featuring direct diesel common-rail injection, delivering 190 and 239 CV and a homologated average consumption of 7.1 l/100 km for both versions.

The level of finish that Lancia uses to equip the Thema combines with more than 70 active and passive safety systems, which earned it a 5-star EuroNCAP rating.

A clearer picture emerges from part of the equipment list. It includes two-tone leather seats, a heated leather steering wheel, a dashboard upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather, LED interior lighting, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, Garmin navigation system and Uconnect system with voice commands and Bluetooth, as well as a state-of-the-art audio system and other integrated systems.
