Land Rover Range Rover Holland & Holland; the epitome of luxury

Just a few days ago we told you about the latest additions that the Land Rover Range Rover and Range Rover Sport will be fitted with from next year.
Today it’s the turn to analyse what will be the most expensive and luxurious version of the great Range Rover. Its name? Range Rover Holland & Holland.
The Range Rover Holland & Holland is built on the platform of the Range Rover SWB, that is, the long-wheelbase chassis variant of the Range. Based on this body, and using the Autobiography Black trim as its foundation, the specialists at SVO (Special Vehicle Operations), working with the experts at Holland & Holland, are set to build the most luxurious and sumptuous Range Rover in the history of the model.

Mechanically, it can be paired with the two highest-end engines in the range, both V8. These are the 5.0 V8 Supercharged (510 CV petrol) and the 4.4 TDV8 (334 CV diesel). Naturally, they are matched to an 8-speed automatic gearbox in which smoothness and comfort take precedence above all else. However, the most striking aspect of this very special vehicle is its interior, where the craftsmen at Holland & Holland have pulled out all the stops.
The interior finishes are simply superb, with leather as the undisputed star. Embroidery bearing the Holland & Holland logo is visible in several areas of the cabin, while other details such as the door handles, carefully sculpted, give a clear sense of the level of detail in this asphalt ocean liner. The rear features the Executive Class package, consisting of two individual seats with electric adjustment, massage and climate control. Other distinctive details can be found on the door sills and on the hand-finished wood trim.

The Range Rover Holland & Holland will be built in a limited run of 40 units per year over three years, at a price of £180,000, a little over €200,000 at current exchange rates, roughly €50,000 more than the previously most expensive variant.
