Leaks of the Nissan Cube 2010

Until now it was common for spy photos of models undergoing testing or about to be unveiled to leak, and even the European Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market had played more than one nasty trick on various brands. But this far surpasses anything before.

Tomica, a company that makes toy vehicles, has beaten Nissan to the punch with the presentation of the toy Cube. Tomica already has the designs for the Nissan Cube ready, and somehow, no one is quite sure how, several of them have leaked onto eBay.

The Nissan Cube will be unveiled at the end of this month at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Several low-quality photos showing the design of the Cube had leaked earlier, and it will be a model that will also be sold in the US. There is even talk of a possible electric version of the model.
