Lexus aims to sell this NX model with a unique design for €60,000

Lexus Spain is venturing into new territory: for the first time, the iconic luxury benchmark brand will take part in the 19th edition of Art Madrid, an event that has established itself as a beacon for contemporary art on an international level and will draw all eyes. From March 6 to 10, 2024, the Galería de Cristal at the Palacio de Cibeles will become the epicentre of this fair, where Lexus will present one of its models, the NX accompanied by a never-before-seen design.

Under the name “NX Art Madrid“, Lexus will present a one-off piece, the result of a collaboration with the artistic collective Casa Antillón. This vehicle, which features a unique and contemporary design, will be a true jewel for art lovers and collectors of automotive rarities. However, its exclusivity does not stop at the aesthetic realm: the NX Art Madrid will be a single unit, available for purchase only during Art Madrid.

This innovative project not only reflects Lexus’s commitment to art and design, but also challenges the limits of the market by offering this work of art on wheels for a price of €60,000, a vision with which Lexus aims to elevate the concept of mobility through forms of artistic expression.

But Lexus is not focusing solely on this single day. Within the framework of the “Lexus Art Month“, the brand has taken part in several other events that complement Spanish culture. These include its role as Official Vehicle at ARCOmadrid and its presence at the UVNT Art Fair.

Options for every taste

Two engine configurations are presented to us, each with its own personality and performance.

The first, the NX 450h+ features a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 185 CV, complemented by two electric motors that combine their forces to reach a impressive total output of 306 CV. This setup, although not turbocharged, offers an energetic and exciting driving experience, harmonising perfectly with the artistic atmosphere surrounding the NX Art Madrid.

On the other hand, the NX 350h in its Premium trim offers a full hybrid option with 243 CV, available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive versions. This variant, marked by its efficiency and environmental respect, reflects Lexus’s commitment to sustainability and technological innovation.
