Lexus RC F Track Edition 2020: a luxurious and precise machine
At the 2019 Detroit Auto Show, Lexus unveiled a very special, powerful and sporty version of the Lexus RC F. The model will go on sale in 2020 and promises not to disappoint speed enthusiasts.
The new Lexus RC F Track Edition 2020 is presented as a lighter, more spirited, powerful and sporty version of the acclaimed RC F. With a 5-litre V8 engine producing 472 CV and 536 Nm of torque, as well as an 8-speed automatic gearbox, it is a full-blooded sports car that promises dynamism and fun in every corner.
We also saw the Lexus LC convertible at the Detroit Show, a completely different perspective.

Another important detail regarding its engine is that it is naturally aspirated, and therefore it will not have the instant response offered by a turbo, something rare to see today in sports cars of this level, but which undoubtedly gives it an enthusiastic character and completely different sensations behind the wheel.

With “Track Edition” written in its name, it is clear that this model has been built for speed, for racing, for the pure and simple purpose of delivering speed and sporty sensations behind the wheel.
The RC F Track Edition features several characteristics that live up to its name. To begin with, it has Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes to provide the safest deceleration experience and prevent overheating of the brake discs.
Carbon fibre parts are present throughout the bodywork; for example, below the grille there are carbon fibre undersides, as well as on the roof, bonnet and its striking rear spoiler, which adds 26.3 kg of downforce.

Thanks to these adjustments, this model weighs 80 kg less than the original RC F, something that would not be possible without the use of carbon fibre elements.
In a straight line it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.96 seconds; however, it is its capacity through corners that truly stands out in this model, despite achieving an incredible result in a straight line with a naturally aspirated engine and without the help of a turbo.

Its design is practically identical to the original model, except of course for its numerous carbon fibre parts and its spoiler. It also features an exclusive colour combination, such as the Nebula Grey pack, which includes red leather seats with Alcantara detailing along the dashboard, and carbon fibre on both the doors and the centre console.

The Lexus RC F Track Edition will enter production in the second quarter of 2019, and its prices will be announced at the end of this same year. Its official launch is scheduled for 2020, although its official market release date is unknown.
