We continue analysing the Lexus RX450h in its Anniversary version, in the first part we told you everything about the engine and the exterior design, which sets it apart from the rest of the range, as well as about the interior and boot.

And now, in this second part, we are going to analyse the equipment, prices and overall assessment of this luxury SUV with a 300 CV hybrid engine. The Anniversary version, in addition to giving the car a different design, also adds equipment so that our RX lacks for nothing.

Equipment

The Lexus RX450h has specific equipment in this Anniversary version that leaves out no element. As always, we start by reviewing the safety elements: Hill-start assist control, Vehicle Stability Control, Electric Power Steering (EPS) with speed-sensitive assistance, front and rear stabiliser bars, ABS, Vehicle Advanced Stability Control System, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, 10 airbags (knee, front, side and curtain) and active head restraints.

In the multimedia equipment, the following stand out: the Head-Up Display with navigation indications, navigation system with an 8-inch screen, 12-speaker sound system, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, among other elements.

Meanwhile, the rest of the equipment is completed with cruise control, perforated electric seats with memory, electric steering column with memory, keyless entry and start system, among other elements.

Prices

The Lexus RX450h is available from 69,700 euros in the Hybrid version, which already comes with comprehensive equipment. Meanwhile, the Lexus RX450h Anniversary is available from 79,900 euros.

Completing the rest of the range is the F-Sport version, available from 77,600 euros, and the Hybrid Plus from 89,100 euros.

However, given the amount of optional equipment and its styling, which is based on the F-Sport version, this RX450h Anniversary is the most balanced equipment level.

Overall Assessment

If you are thinking of buying a luxury SUV there are many different alternatives, but few of them involve hybrids. That is the strong point of the Lexus RX450h, which has the advantages of a petrol model but with the consumption of a diesel thanks to its hybrid system.

It is a car that saves fuel in situations where other luxury SUVs do not, such as urban routes or traffic jams, where the hybrid system brings out its best. That said, it prioritises comfort; that is, it is not a sports car nor does it aim to be one. For that there are other alternatives with handling closer to a saloon, but that is not the case with the RX.

It is also true that comfort is an area in which it excels, whether through its good interior soundproofing or its air suspension, standard on this Anniversary version.

As for equipment, the Anniversary version offers you a complete car without the need for costly extras: you pay 79,900 euros and the price includes everything you could need in terms of equipment. Compared with other versions in the range, it is the most balanced in terms of price/equipment.
