Lexus teases its electric prototype, which will be presented on March 30

Few brands are left without an all-electric car offering. Lexus is one of them, but that is about to change. The Japanese premium brand is finalizing everything needed to present its 100% electric prototype. The global presentation will take place on March 30, but the brand wants to build anticipation by releasing short videos with details of the car.

Some time ago they released a video that showed us, through shadows, what to expect from the exterior design and bodywork of this car. Now we can see a new video that reveals two important things. On one hand, we get a brief look at the electric traction system with the two motors that will equip the concept model. The other is the interior of the car, where we can glimpse something that catches the eye.

Electric propulsion system

We don’t know details of this prototype, but we do know that Lexus already presented a concept model with two motors some time ago. In that case there were two electric motors that deliver 150 kW of power, equivalent to 204 CV each, and that feature 300 Nm of torque. Will this be the same setup that this prototype, to be presented on March 30, will receive?

Something we can see in the second video is part of the interior. From this we can infer that it is a four-seat model and, somewhat curiously, a fork-shaped steering wheel. The cabin interior features a fairly minimalist design, which leaves us eager to see it in more detail and find out how the controls are handled.

On the exterior we find slim headlights, accompanied by a closed grille that provides the brand image that is so appealing. We don’t know anything else for now, although in just a few days we will be able to enjoy this model in all its splendor and see what proposal this brand, which always surprises, has in store.
