Lotus updates its range of electric models for 2025

Lotus has expanded the number of versions of the Eletre and the Emeya within the range for 2025, with the aim of offering each customer the vehicle that best suits their needs.

Lotus has just announced some changes that will affect its range of electric models for 2025, which includes both the Eletre luxury electric SUV and the Emeya saloon. From now on, both models will be available with two different designations, 600 and 900, depending on their performance. But that’s not all, because the British manufacturer has also added two equipment lines not previously available: GT and GT SE.

In this way, the Eletre is now offered in six different versions: 600, 600 GT, 600 GT SE, 600 Sport SE, 900 Sport and the exclusive 900 Sport Carbon, the latter as the top of the range. The Emeya follows a similar scheme, although the 600 version is reserved exclusively for the United Kingdom and will not be sold in continental Europe. Both models can already be ordered and will be available at the brand’s dealerships from the summer.

As for prices, the Eletre 600 starts at 99,990 euros in Continental Europe, while the Emeya 600 will cost £84,990 in the United Kingdom, the same as the Eletre 600. Moving up the range, the Emeya 600 GT starts at 107,990 euros, a slight increase over the previous year. The British manufacturer has not yet revealed the prices of the remaining versions of both electric models. Lotus also states that, in addition to the predefined configurations, customers can personalise their vehicles with various packs, options and paint colours.

Technical specifications and equipment of the different available versions

The Eletre 600 features a dual electric motor with a combined output of 450 kW, all-wheel drive and a 112 kWh battery pack, accompanied by 20-inch wheels. The GT and GT SE versions add a motorway assistant and 22-inch alloy wheels, while the GT SE also includes a glass roof. The Eletre 900 Sport, meanwhile, raises the output to 675 kW with a two-speed transmission, and the Sport SE and Sport Carbon variants incorporate ventilated front seats with massage function.

The Emeya follows the same line. Its 600 version, available only in the United Kingdom, also has a 450 kW dual motor, although in this case its battery has a capacity of 102 kWh. The GT, GT SE and Sport configurations, meanwhile, offer equipment similar to that of the Eletre.

Lotus has wanted to highlight the exceptional performance of both models. According to the British manufacturer, the Emeya 600 is capable of reaching 100 km/h from a standstill in 4.15 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. The Eletre 600, meanwhile, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and its top speed is limited to 256 km/h.

For those who won’t settle for anything less

The 900 versions of both models are even more impressive, with the Emeya 900 reaching 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and the Eletre 900 in 2.95 seconds. The top speed of both is limited to 256 km/h.
