Following the release of a series of images of the new GranTurismo last June, the Trident brand has taken advantage of the news of its Formula E debut to show the first images of its Maserati GranTurismo Folgore, the fully electric variant of its popular sports car.

With this launch, the new GranTurismo Folgore will also become the first production electric car sold by the Trident company, to be joined later by the recently presented Maserati Grecale Folgore and other models in the future, as the brand becomes fully electrified by 2030.

Its features almost uncovered

The preview was made by publishing several images of the new GranTurismo Folgore cruising the European streets freely, allowing us to observe its features in detail and its undeniable presence, showcasing the DNA that so characterizes the Italian brand.

Production of the new Maserati GranTurismo Folgore will take place at the same plant as the Grecale Folgore, specifically at the Mirafiori facilities of the brand, optimized for manufacturing vehicles with electric technology, marking a historic step for the Italian brand.
