Mazda, Peugeot and Toyota will continue with the PIVE Plan

While the Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria, woke us up today with the news that it is possible that in 2013 we will have another PIVE Plan with a bigger budget than the previous one, hopes have revived among brands of another opportunity not to let sales fall. But while this happens, Mazda, Peugeot and Toyota have decided to extend the PIVE Plan and fund the discounts on their own.
In the case of Peugeot, it should be highlighted that the French brand has not set a deadline for the extension of the programme, so they have decided to maintain for their private customers the one-thousand-euro discount included in the PIVE Plan. The conditions for accessing the plan will be the same as in the original PIVE, which has already run out.
Mazda has decided to keep the PIVE Plan campaign running until 31 March, with access to discounts for the models of the brand’s fifth generation: Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda5, Mazda6 and Mazda MX-5. Unlike the aid scheme offered by the Government, the MazdaPIVE Plan can be applied to all private customers who purchase a new vehicle from the brand with no limit on the age of the vehicle being handed in part-exchange.
Toyota has announced that it is willing to maintain the aid on all orders placed until 31 January, for all customers and models that meet the PIVE requirements, so that almost all Toyota and Lexus models will be eligible.
