McDonald's food arrives at your home in a Ferrari or a Lamborghini

You’ve read the headline and think we’re pulling your leg, right? Nothing could be further from the truth. The problem is that in our country these wonderful services are not the norm.
But in Australia they are, specifically in south Melbourne, where the fast-food chain McDonald’s has wanted to break the stereotype of a “cheap” establishment, aiming to add an element of exclusivity to its home delivery.
They use a Ferrari F430 Spider for home delivery, which sports the colours of the popular fast-food chain: a red body with yellow lines and lettering. Now, for your burger to arrive home aboard a Ferrari, you must place a minimum order of 17.6 euros and pay an extra charge of 3.49 euros.

Even so, this service only covers a radius of around two kilometres from the restaurant and, apparently, the service is only available from Monday to Sunday and only in the afternoon, from 5:00 pm onwards.
Customers would never have imagined that McDonald’s would use a Ferrari 430 Spider or an Lamborghini Aventador. Once that happened, many customers expressed the wish to have their orders delivered to their homes, as did the author of the photos, who was amazed and posted them on his Twitter.
Prices haven’t changed, but we can bet that this trick will increase the number of people willing to pay a little more. Two shops in Sydney are experimenting with delivery, and five others will soon follow. Will they use supercars too? And in our country? I know someone who would love to be a delivery driver.
