McLaren 720S Velocita: more carbon and performance for the British supercar
The McLaren 720S has received an upgrade kit from German tuner DMC. With this package, the supercar gains performance and a new “look” with more carbon fibre.
The McLaren 720S is one of the most balanced supercars in the world. Its incredible performance makes it a tough rival for most supercars on the market. It is therefore an exclusive car in its own right, but some people always want to stand out and add an extra touch of spice to their car. If you are that kind of person and have enough money – if not, I congratulate you on your passion for cars – you will be glad to know that there is a new tuning package for the McLaren 720S that improves its performance and incorporates a series of aesthetic changes that make it even more special.
More carbon fibre and better aerodynamics

DMC’s tuning package (a German “tuner”) is called the McLaren 720 S Velocita, and its first stage includes several elements finished in carbon fibre: new front bumper, side skirts, diffusers and rear spoiler. DMC claims these elements improve the aerodynamics of the standard car and are accompanied by 20-inch wheels on the front axle and 21-inch on the rear. The tyres the 720S uses for the occasion are Pirelli P Zero with dimensions 245/30 at the front and 305/35 at the rear.
Better performance: 35 CV more

Let’s talk performance. The McLaren 720S is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, one tenth of a second faster than the standard version. How has it achieved this? With a series of electronic modifications (control unit) and a new stainless steel exhaust system. These improvements have allowed the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine to increase its power to 744 CV and its torque to 780 Nm. This means an increase of 35 CV of power and 10 Nm of torque over the standard 720 S.

The performance upgrade package for the McLaren 720S designed by DMC has been available since the beginning of this year, but it is only now that the German tuner has begun offering a kit that combines technical and visual improvements.
