McLaren BC-03: the fastest hypercar ever produced by McLaren?
McLaren is already working on a new project: a hypercar even faster and more exclusive than the McLaren Speedtail.
The definitive version of the McLaren Speedtail has not yet been revealed, but it seems that the special operations division (MSO) of the British firm is already working on its new project: a hypercar even more radical and exclusive than the Speedtail, which will be called McLaren BC-03.
“Dan_am_i” and x_”marc the_spot”, two prolific car collectors, recently posted images of the future hypercar on Instagram under the nickname BC-03. Apparently, both will receive one of the 5 units to which production of this exclusive model will be limited worldwide. Unlike the Speedtail, the BC-03 will not have three seats.
The future owners of the BC-03 have not wanted to reveal too many details about a hypercar that, according to several reports, will be based on the Vision GT prototype that McLaren designed last year for the Gran Turismo Sport video game.

McLaren Vision GT
If the production model really ends up resembling the virtual concept (Vision GT), we would be talking about a single-seater (one seat) focused on track use. In that case, it would incorporate some of the aerodynamic elements that characterise the Vision GT, such as the raised rear wing, large air intakes, and ultra-lightweight bodywork. In short, it would be something like the successor to the Lamborghini Veneno but with much greater performance, power and technology.

McLaren Vision GT
The Vision GT prototype incorporates a hybrid propulsion system that combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine together with two electric motors. The combined output of this powertrain reaches 1,150 CV and the torque 1,275 Nm. If these figures were replicated in the BC-03, we would be talking about the fastest vehicle ever produced by the British carmaker.
