McLaren lands in Spain with its first dealership

Supercar brands have always been characterised by their main markets in the Middle East, the United States and many other countries. Over time, they realised they could expand their borders, and that is what they did. This is what has happened to McLaren, a company that had never had a headquarters in Spain until now.

The British firm has seen a bright future in Spain and has therefore decided to expand its dealership network. For the occasion, the chosen location is Barcelona, a city where several supercar dealerships such as Ferrari are located. With this move to Spain, McLaren now has 21 stores spread across Europe.

This allows McLaren to enjoy a broader market and gives Spanish supercar enthusiasts the opportunity to buy one of the vehicles from the English firm. The dealership will open its doors at the end of next year, but for the time being it will be serving its customers’ needs in a showroom located in the Les Corts district of the Catalan capital.

Even so, McLaren Spain plans to move to a temporary dealership until the official one is open. In this way, potential buyers will be able to place orders through a brand concession and avoid dealing directly with the overseas head office. The store will be located near Avenida Diagonal, where all of McLaren’s products will be offered without exception on the Spanish market.

“We believe this is a very important and competitive market within the European Union, and that a brand with the history and prestige of McLaren should be present. We are very excited to be starting this project, a challenge that carries a great responsibility and to which we will dedicate all our efforts.” said Eduardo Costabal, Director of McLaren Barcelona.

The company in charge of running this dealership will be Comercial Chelsea 1979 which, thanks to its work and effort, will allow us to enjoy British supercars on our roads. The McLaren 540, 570S and 720S will be put on sale immediately and potential customers will be able to place orders at the temporary dealership we mentioned.

Let us remember that McLaren vehicles are positioned as some of the fastest in the world. Thanks to the facilities the brand provides, the Woking supercars will be able to conquer our country with considerable sales compared with other firms offering similar vehicles. McLaren seeks to take the place of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche in Spain with this new dealership.
