McLaren will certify its used models

It is still early to talk about the sale of the new era of supercars from McLaren, but in Woking they have launched a programme that certifies the authenticity of used vehicles. In this way, Ron Dennis’s team aims to facilitate the buying and selling process of a given model.
The service, called McLaren Qualified, guarantees that every model carrying this certificate will be completely authentic. To do so, McLaren will check from one end to the other, from the interior to the very last corner of the bodywork, the authenticity of the English supercar.
Buyers of the used model will also receive a two-year factory warranty covering parts and repairs. In addition, vehicles that have passed through McLaren’s Special Operations factory will undergo an inspection within one month of purchase.
According to the firm’s Marketing and Sales Director, Greg Levine, “The strict management and control of used vehicles is key to maintaining exclusivity, the customer experience and, in general, the residual values of each McLaren. This is very important to us, and even more so to our customers. Through the McLaren Qualified programme, we are ensuring that the experience of owning a McLaren is unique, giving owners confidence in the standards of McLaren”.
