Mercedes-AMG SL 63 by Mansory: the roadster goes radical with carbon fibre
The German tuner presents its latest creation based on the Mercedes convertible, giving it a more aggressive look and power output of over 800 CV
With its latest creation based on the MercedesFerrari SF90 no less, Mansory is back at it again, this time with the sporty Mercedes convertible as its star, which has received its trademark touch of visual sportiness and performance of another level.
Despite having created some of the most extravagant and peculiar builds, Mansory has opted to create a version of the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 that is very radical yet more understated than some of its siblings, with an elegant dark look, a generous dose of carbon fibre and the odd gold-coloured detail along its bodywork that contrasts perfectly with the black paintwork.
Its new features, part by part
Starting with the front view, Mansory’s SL 63 debuts a new bonnet with heavily pronounced ribs, a new bumper with larger, bigger air intakes, a new Panamericana grille with the Mansory logo where the star would traditionally sit, and a carbon splitter that completes the aggressive look of the German sports car.

From the side view, the undisputed stars of this preparation are the new 22-inch black wheels, behind which sit gold-coloured brake calipers. Nor can we forget the carbon sill covers, the small gills and the aerodynamic mirror housings, also in carbon fibre.
Finishing with the rear exterior view, the rear of the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 features a protruding carbon diffuser that embraces its four large exhaust outlets, a new bumper with more aggressive inserts, and a retractable carbon spoiler that increases its downforce at high speeds.

Inside, Mansory offers elegant white upholstery with several carbon fibre inserts, white seatbelts with Mansory lettering in black, or bespoke floor mats from the tuner.
Two power levels
As for performance, the German tuner offers two performance kits delivering 720 CV for the less powerful version and 850 CV for the most potent. This figure, combined with the air suspension system that lowers the car’s ride height and improves its stability, turns Mansory’s SL into a true open-top supercar.
