Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG World Championship 2014 Collector's Edition, only 19 units

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled one of the most exclusive limited editions it has released onto the market in recent years.
With a rather grandiose name (Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG World Championship 2014 Collector’s Edition), 19 units of the brand’s luxury roadster have been presented, specially built to celebrate winning the F1 World Constructors’ Championship.
Built on the basis of the SL63 AMG, this collector’s edition offers a more personal look, more in the style of wealthy buyers looking for a highly exclusive vehicle. For this reason, the exterior design does not alter its lines compared with the standard version, but its appearance does change with the incorporation of special paints at specific points. This is the case of the front spoiler, whose lower part on the bumper is painted in gold or black.

The interior follows a similar approach. Small details that, taken together, make up a cabin that is more exclusive than usual. According to Mercedes, both drivers (both Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton) have collaborated on the development of this limited edition. Thus, each of the 19 units, regardless of its colour, will be personalised with details from one of the circuits that make up the F1 World Championship.
These details can be found on the floor mats, on the starter key itself and on a commemorative plaque placed on the centre console, which also shows the unit number. Mechanically, we are talking about a hard-top convertible powered by a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 530 CV, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. Availability and prices are not yet known, but it is quite possible that all 19 units have already been allocated.
