Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition: The end of the gullwing

Time passes very quickly, even more so in an industry like the automotive one, which is constantly renewing itself. That is why manufacturers cannot stop evolving.
This is the case of Mercedes-Benz, which has announced the end of the SLS AMG after just 3 years on sale. It is a planned farewell, since its successor is already in development.
The SLS bows out with this 350-unit version, which includes numerous exclusive elements so that its fortunate owners feel at all times that they are driving one of the most special vehicles from the brand with the star.

The exterior is updated with details such as a new red colour, newly designed alloy wheels painted in matt black, as well as a lacquered carbon-fibre bonnet.
The front bumper has been redesigned, and the braking system has been upgraded, making it exclusive to this version.
The engine remains unchanged, so it is still a 6.2 naturally aspirated V8 delivering 591 CV. It will be paired with the 7G-DCT dual-clutch transmission.
The Final Edition will be limited to 350 units and will be shown at the Tokyo and Los Angeles Motor Shows.

This brings to an end the production of the most powerful naturally aspirated AMG in history, which will make way for the SLC sports car, a more compact vehicle that will feature the new 4.0 V8 biturbo engine the German brand is preparing.
