Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster vs Audi R8 V10 Spyder

It was only a matter of time before someone came up with the brilliant idea of comparing two exceptional rivals, no less than two supercars of the calibre of the Audi R8 V10 Spyder and the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster.

On the one hand we have a beautiful Audi R8 V10 Spyder, a gorgeous convertible equipped with a huge V10 engine taken straight from the Lamborghini Gallardo, capable of producing a staggering 525 hp, enough to, among other things, accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds or reach a top speed of 313 km/h.

As you can see, jaw-dropping performance that must face up to a beautiful Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster equipped with a huge 6.2-litre V8 of AMG origin, capable of delivering 571 hp. Among its general characteristics, it is worth highlighting an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of around 318 km/h.

As you can see, although their performance figures are very different, they are more than similar. Which one is better? To find out, you only need to watch the video below these lines. As a personal preference, I’ll just say that the Audi appeals to me a lot, but I don’t know what it is about the convertible version of the Mercedes SLS AMG that drives me crazy.
