MG establishes itself as the fastest-growing brand in the Spanish market
With a 836% increase in sales compared to the same month last year, MG has managed to sell no fewer than 1,314 units during the month of November

When it began its commercial journey in February 2021, the legendary British brand owned by SAIC Motor registered a total of 21 vehicles in Spain during that first month. However, the growth of MG has been exponential, since just over a year and a half later, it has become the fastest-growing brand in the Spanish market, selling more than 1,000 units for the second consecutive month, which are already on the roads.
With a total of 1,314 vehicles registered during this past month of November, MG has managed to increase its share by 1.8% in the total market, 2.5% in the private buyer market and 7.8% in the electric vehicle market for private buyers, since we should remember that they currently offer up to five electrified models and two combustion engine options.
The key to its success
Focusing on the brand’s success in the Spanish market, the key to this excellent sales result lies in the MG ZS, the best-selling model by far within the brand’s product portfolio, thanks to its excellent value for money, boasting of being the favourite petrol SUV in its segment among private customers and the most in-demand petrol vehicle in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona or Seville.

Of the 1,314 units sold in November, 1,045 correspond to the MG ZS. An SUV that starts at an incredible price of €12,950 with immediate delivery, a 448-litre boot expandable to 1,166 litres with the rear seats folded down, a 1.5 VTI-tech engine producing 106 CV or a 1.0 T-GDI producing 111 CV, and the option of either a manual or automatic gearbox.
Excellent standard equipment at a very attractive price
The standard equipment of the MG ZS is another key to its success, since regardless of the trim chosen (Comfort or Luxury), it features a colour touchscreen for the 10.1-inch infotainment system, an air purification system and an ABS braking system with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).
If opting for the top-of-the-range version, the MG ZS comes with standout equipment such as 17-inch alloy wheels, Bi-LED headlights, 360° parking camera, satellite navigation, panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, and systems such as blind spot monitoring or rear cross-traffic alert, among others.
