Gladiator Jeep Pick-up SUV Tuning
Militem Ferox-T, when the Jeep Gladiator becomes a genuine luxury pick-up
Militem, an Italian tuner specialising in Jeep models, announces its latest project: transforming the Gladiator into a luxury 4×4

You may not be very familiar with it, but in Italy there is a tuner specialising in the Jeep brand. It is Militem, a company capable of giving these American off-roaders a generous dose of extra luxury and sportiness, and which has now announced its latest project, based on one of Jeep’s most recent models: the Gladiator Rubicon.
Ferox-T is the name Militem has given its new creation based on the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, and with it they claim this evolution takes the vehicle from an SUV to a SUT, or what is known as a Sport Utility Truck. Whatever it is called, the Jeep Gladiator’s main strength has always been its off-road capability on demanding terrain, and that will remain in the Ferox-T, which now receives an exterior and interior makeover with a greater sense of exclusivity that makes it even more suitable for everyday use.

Looking at the exterior of the Militem Ferox-T, its appearance is more in keeping with its off-road capability. At the front, Militem has fitted a honeycomb-pattern grille in black, also available in carbon fibre, flanked on either side by smoked LED headlights, while a little lower down the bumper is new, with a smaller, more refined design that is more effective when tackling difficult terrain and which also allows an LED light bar to be fitted. This light bar is installed on the roll bars of the load bed, which also features a marine-grade floor. On the sides, the wheel arches are widened, available in carbon fibre or in the same finish as the bodywork, along with 20-inch wheels and retractable running boards.

As an option, the Militem Ferox-T offers the Adventure package, aimed at those who will use it for more off-road work. It features a special scratch-resistant paint on the bumpers, wheel arches and load bed, fully LED lighting for better visibility after dark, a snorkel on the passenger side for safe deep-water crossings and, finally, Cooper 35×12.50 R20 Mud Terrain tyres.

Inside the Militem Ferox-T is perhaps where the handcrafted work of the brand’s specialists is most evident. They have sought to add an even greater touch of luxury without altering the standard functionality of the Gladiator’s interior. The upholstery is Italian leather, with the option of Alcantara inserts
, although customers can choose from a wide range of leathers, fabrics and technical fibres. Add to this the black contrast details and, exclusive to this model, a button on the centre console that changes the colour of the LED ambient lighting.
Mechanically, the Militem Ferox-T uses the 3,600 cc V6 engine, slightly tuned by Militem’s engineers to produce 290 CV of power, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. For a sportier drive, the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel allow manual gear changes. Finally, it features an exhaust system made by Militem in a Black Performance finish, whose sound can be adjusted from inside the cabin, whether for a deeper rumble or for a more discreet note.
The Militem Ferox-T is now available, and its price will depend on the market where it is sold. To give an idea, the starting price in Italy will be 97,490 euros§h40§ before taxes.
