Mitsubishi launches the Black Edition special edition for the ASX and the Outlander
The two most representative models of Mitsubishi today, the ASX and the Outlander PHEV, will receive the Black Edition special edition starting next month

Little by little, since its return to the European market, Mitsubishi has expanded a range that today includes four models available in Spain, the most representative of which are the ASX (based on the Renault Captur and launched in spring 2024) and the Outlander (a large SUV with plug-in hybrid powertrain). These are precisely the models the Japanese brand has chosen to star in the Black Edition special edition, in which, as you can imagine, black will be the main colour.
Mitsubishi ASX Black Edition

The truth is that Mitsubishi has not gone to great lengths with images of the ASX Black Edition, offering only the picture we have used on the cover, although at least they have taken the trouble to detail that this crossover can be chosen with different exterior paint options, including:
- Two-tone paint with a black roof and grey mirror caps
- White bodywork with a black roof and black mirror caps
- Red bodywork with a black roof and black mirror caps as well
Regardless of the combination you choose, the Mitsubishi ASX Black Edition will also feature on its exterior all the Piano Black mouldings and inserts found on the waistline, rear bumper and side decorations. The 18-inch alloy wheels are also finished in Piano Black, and its equipment also adds rear privacy glass, heated front seats and wireless smartphone charging.
The Mitsubishi ASX Black Edition can be chosen with any of its available engines, which, to recall, consist first of the three-cylinder 1.0-litre 100T engine with 90 CV paired with a manual gearbox; followed by the 130T engine, a 1.3-litre unit available with 140 CV with manual gearbox or 160 CV with automatic gearbox. Finally, the 160 HEV full hybrid powertrain is also available, with 145 CV.
The Mitsubishi ASX Black Edition can be ordered in Spain from February with a starting price of 21,800 euros, including the current sales campaign and financing.
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Black Edition

The large Mitsubishi SUV enhances its look with this Black Edition special edition, with bodywork available in Graphite Grey with a black roof or Black Diamond for the entire body including the roof. With either colour we must add a front end with the characteristic “Dynamic Shield” and roof rails in Piano Black, combined with dark grey emblems as well as the headlight and window surrounds in stainless steel painted black. The look is completed with 20-inch wheels in Piano Black and a dark grey centre cap, not forgetting the black semi-aniline leather seats with silver stitching.
The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Black Edition will be available with the only engine it offers, namely the combination of a four-cylinder 2.4-litre petrol unit with 16 valves and two electric motors on each axle, resulting in a combined output of 302 CV, together with a 22.7 kWh battery with which it achieves a range of 86 kilometres in fully electric mode.
