Mitsubishi prepares nine concept cars to shine at the Tokyo Motor Show
The Tokyo Motor Show will bring nine concept models from Mitsubishi, designed to surprise with an adventurous spirit and built for the outdoors

One of the first major events of the year, if we talk about the automotive industry, is the Tokyo Motor Show. It is the event where Japanese manufacturers show us the models and versions that will soon reach the local market and later, in several cases, the international market.
Mitsubishi has prepared several concept cars that showcase its latest developments, both for Japan and for the rest of the world. In total there are nine concepts spanning SUVs, the famous kei cars, a minivan and even a pick-up. All of them are oriented toward the outdoors and moments of adventure.

Two adventurous SUVs
Among the concept vehicles on show at the Japanese exhibition are two SUVs in a Black Edition Premium version. The Mitsubishi Outlander and the Eclipse Cross are finished in metallic titanium grey, contrasted with black details and alloy wheels in the same colour. A roof basket has been added to carry objects, offering greater versatility.

Another vehicle on display is a variant of the Delica Mini minivan. Alongside the production version of this new proposal from the brand, a variant aimed at leisure and adventure will arrive: the Delica Mini x Coleman. It was designed together with the outdoor activities brand and features a grey livery, a roof rack, more grippy tyres and mudguards.
Another version of this minivan to be presented will be the Snow Survivor. It has been fitted with a bumper guard, a larger roof rack and off-road wheels, shod with Toyo Tires Open Country all/terrain tyres. Both versions have more accessories, such as storage spaces in the cargo area and a bed kit, ideal for camping far from the city.
Kei cars for Japan
In Japan, kei cars are very common, small urban vehicles that do not consume much and sell very well on the local market. One of them will be the updated version of the concept presented last year, with an electric drivetrain. It is the Mitsubishi Minicab Mieve B-Leisure Style II.
Despite its size, it is equipped to become a practical urban workspace. An offer that is very successful in Japan, although it has not enjoyed the same success in the rest of the world.
