More power for the BMW X6 M! Now up to 700 hp

If you were one of those who found the 575 hp of the BMW X6 M a little short for what this model represents, you may be pleased to know that this special and fearsome model from the German brand has received an upgrade and transformation from the personalisation company Manhart. A power package that takes the 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine fitted to this car and raises its standard output to 700 hp, also boosting its maximum torque from 750 Nm to 950 Nm.

This increase has been achieved by modifying some of the engine’s characteristics, but also by replacing the exhaust system with a modified silencer and the downpipes with a different system. The changes don’t stop there, as even the model’s name has been changed to give a new meaning to its power and performance.

As for performance figures, which Manhart has not revealed and which remain a mystery. The new name is MHX6 700, which refers to that power output. We know the engine delivers more power and torque, but what acceleration and top speed figures are we talking about?

Considering that the base model this version is built on reaches 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, it’s reasonable to expect this car to cut that time considerably and offer a more aggressive acceleration response.

And if the exterior and what lies under the bonnet are already impressive, the bodywork won’t fall behind. The model will sit on 22-inch Concave One alloy wheels, available in black or silver. The bonnet has been replaced with a carbon-fibre unit and the interior also holds a few surprises that show off the adjustments made. Aesthetically, it features a series of yellow details that give it the company’s identity and which, moreover, are compatible with the BMW X5 M, so they can also be fitted to that model.

For now there are no details on pricing either, but we can enjoy this personalisation, which will be available to order soon.
