Morgan "surprises" us with the Threewheeler concept

Curious. There are plenty of three-wheeled vehicles, although I don’t think any with a design like this one, the typical one from the English manufacturer Morgan, which harks back above all to classic lines. It is indeed a rather surprising turn to think that the same people who designed the spectacular EvaGT or the LIFEcar now present us with something completely the opposite.
The Threewheeler is a return to the company’s past. At the beginning of the 20th century, Morgan built some 600,000 cars similar to this one, in England and France. Things are very different today, although the new “three-wheeler” is almost similar to those of yesteryear. The differences are obvious as soon as you look at the engine: today, the Threewheeler comes with a Harley Davidson engine (Screaming Eagle), 1800cc, coupled to a Mazda5 gearbox. What a combination.
The design fully evokes the 1910 model, although this one is not aimed at early drivers and daring pilots, but at an audience that must necessarily be somewhat eccentric to buy this car. An audience that wants to stand out from the rest, with a sports car in the old-fashioned style: with 500 kilos of weight and just 100 horsepower, it is enough to go from 0 to 100 km/h in a little over 4 seconds. Quite good, for a car like this.
Inside there are some details that continue to pay homage to the classic models. The steering wheel, the instrument cluster, the dashboard with knobs similar to those of aircraft, and the same cabin design, are nothing more than a modern adaptation by Morgan to a model that is not for everyone, but at least it is not lacking in originality.
