Movie cars: the Justice League superheroes will drive Mercedes-Benz

A few days ago Warner released the new trailer for the highly anticipated Justice League sequel. In collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, the American studio has launched an impressive promotion showing Wonder Woman at the wheel of the elegant and sophisticated Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet convertible, while Batman swaps his Batmobile for a Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo.

In the video we can see previously unseen images of how the film’s designers worked alongside the Mercedes-Benz team to create the two special vehicles from the German brand that will be driven by the superheroes.

According to Gordon Wagener, Daimler’s Head of Design, “as designers we have to create fantasy, so we often draw inspiration from the film industry. It is exciting to see that this time it is the film industry that has been inspired by us, and how our Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo has become a superhero’s car.”

The Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo driven by Batman has been designed with special dimensions tailored to Ben Affleck and features a twin-turbo V8 engine producing 585 CV and 800 Nm of torque.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet designed specially for the film will be driven by Diana Prince, known as Wonder Woman, and as the brand has confirmed, the car will play an important role in the movie.

With a star-studded cast including Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa, Justice League is scheduled to hit cinemas in a little over a month, specifically on November 17. We will have to wait until then to see the design details the brand has included in these one-of-a-kind models.
