MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR LH44, the model designed by Lewis Hamilton that you'll want to own

The British Formula 1 driver is getting into the act with MV Agusta, launching a new motorcycle together: the third they have designed jointly, and it will be a limited-run model

If I mention Lewis Hamilton you’ll probably think of Formula 1, and if I tell you he has designed a vehicle, you’ll surely think of a car. And not just any car, for sure. But it turns out the British driver has spent several years collaborating with the motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta, since this brand was for a time owned by Mercedes and they began working together. That period produced two motorcycles, the MV Agusta F4 LH44 and the Dragster 800 RR LH44. The brand is no longer owned by Mercedes, but Hamilton continues working with them, and the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR LH44 is the result of that collaboration.

Hamilton’s proposal is a motorcycle from the Brutale 800 RR range, which uses the range’s well-known engine, a 798 cc block, delivering 140 CV of power and a maximum torque of 86 Nm. The design has a dry weight of 172 kilos, which strikes a perfect balance between power and weight. Like all the motorcycles in this range, it is easy to handle and offers a very appealing level of control.

Aesthetically it has a very attractive design, which does not stray from that of the other variants of the model, but is enhanced by the touch added by Hamilton. The bodywork colours, black and a very eye-catching red, make it stand out and give it a dynamic, almost wild look. The white chassis can be seen on the sides and provides a very attractive contrast.

If we talk about other highlights of the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR LH44, there is the exhaust with ceramic coating and the Marchesi wheels fitted with Pirelli Diablo Corsa tyres. Carbon fibre is present in some decorative elements and makes a fairly striking visual difference. The inverted fork signed by Marzocchi is another element that adds exclusivity. Only 144 units of this motorcycle will be built, because the number associated with Lewis Hamilton is 44. You’ll find it, if you get there in time, for 24,144 euros.
