NEVS will build the Saab 9-3 from next year, although without electric motors

NEVS has confirmed that it plans to begin building its own version of the Saab 9-3 in Trollhättan from next summer, although they will not yet be electric.

Many months without receiving anything truly important from NEVS, the consortium that has taken over the destiny of what remains of the defunct Saab. But we already have some news regarding the first product NEVS will put into production, which is none other than a remake of the 9-3.

It seems that NEVS is set to begin manufacturing the 9-3 from next summer, possibly at Saab’s former assembly plants in Trollhättan. Several variants of the new 9-3 are in the works (three are said to be planned), although none of them has been confirmed yet.

NEVS’s promise to revolutionise electric cars with its own electric technology under the skin of the new Saabs will have to wait a little longer. The first generations of the 9-3’s return will be powered by petrol or diesel engines; there is still no concrete news about the type and class of engines these new next-generation Saabs will use.

What is even stranger is Youngman Auto’s determination to use the Phoenix platform to build its own Saab models. If it carries out its manufacturing plan, we would have two different entities called Saab on the market at practically the same time.

Que no olviden reestudiar el alternador. Si siguen con el mismo seguiran petando y no se haran cargo de la averia como los sinverguenza de saab.
