Alfa Romeo is launching onto the market an updated version of the MiTo with minor aesthetic touch-ups that make it more eye-catching, further emphasising its “Energy Machine” concept. In its concept, it recalls the iconic, small Alfa Romeo Giulia GT 1300 Junior from 1966.

The new version of the smallest model in the Alfa Romeo range is aimed at younger customers. To this end, prices are lower, so buying one of the units of the new MiTo Junior may be more affordable than before, allowing you to enjoy the performance of this small but great car.

On the exterior, the MiTo Junior stands out thanks to its 17″ alloy wheels in white, wing mirrors with special covers painted in Ghiaccio White and a white vinyl applied to the rear tailgate with the distinctive “Junior” lettering of the new version. Completing the set of distinctive exterior elements are the satin chrome door handles, as well as the frames surrounding the front and rear light clusters, the tinted rear windows, a spoiler, the chrome exhaust tip and a sporty rear bumper.

The interior also sees some changes, with touches such as upholstered seats in the new sporty Techno black and white fabric with white stitching, the sports steering wheel is trimmed in leather with white stitching outlining its inner rim, as well as the handbrake lever and gear knob. The floor mats feature the “Junior” logo printed on them, with white stitching, street-style dashboard in black. The sporty instrument cluster is specific to the new version, with white graphic elements. It also includes the new Uconnect infotainment system, which features a 5″ screen and steering wheel controls.

The engines, which are efficient, high-performance and low-emission, available for the new MiTo Junior version are: the 1.4-litre 78 CV petrol engine, the new 0.9-litre Turbo TwinAir with 105 CV, also petrol, and the new, powerful 1.4-litre MultiAir Turbo petrol with 140 CV, paired with the “Alfa TCT” automatic gearbox. The only turbodiesel engine available is the 1.3 JTDM with 85 CV, part of the second generation of MultiJet engines.

It has all the ingredients to stand out from its direct rivals in its segment, thanks to details designed for this specific version and to the engines that will move the car with agility and ease. The new Alfa Romeo MiTo Junior is available at the brand’s dealerships from €12,600.
