New Citroën C4 Cactus: we already know the prices of the French compact
The new Citroën C4 Cactus is presented with the aim of continuing the great success of its previous version. It has a starting price of 16,950 euros.

If we must highlight one of the best-selling vehicles of recent years, it is, without a doubt, the Citroën C4 Cactus. The French bestseller enjoyed great success during its production run and the second generation was not going to be any different. Citroën has managed to create a practical, affordable and versatile vehicle, a perfect combination to meet everyday needs. Not long ago we told you about the main new features of the C4 Cactus and today we will talk about its price.
The new C4 Cactus is characterised by having a philosophy very similar to that of its previous generation. This is something Citroën has taken into account in order to continue the success of one of its star products. But its large sales figures are due to several factors, among which its on-the-move comfort, technology and prices stand out. In this second version, it was not going to be any different.
Its styling remains faithful to that of the first generation, but with slight updates that make the C4 Cactus look more modern. It features a new lighting unit full of LED lights and a new front end that gives it a look very close to that of SUVs. Even so, the C4 Cactus presents itself as a very versatile vehicle, as it can handle both urban environments and open road without any problems.

The C4 Cactus suspension incorporates a hydraulic system that absorbs practically all the unevenness of the road and gives occupants a very exclusive experience. This is an essential complement when tackling long journeys with the new Cactus, as well as its new interior, which is full of the latest technology and features a new digital instrument cluster.
The Citroën C4 Cactus will be available in three different versions: Live, Feel and Shine. Each of them has different trim levels and is associated with several engines, both petrol and diesel. This is another point the French brand has taken into account, as it offers a very varied range of powertrains. Among the petrol options we find the most modest of all, a 82 CV PureTech, followed by a 110 CV engine -with either manual or EAT6 automatic gearbox- and culminating in the most powerful engine in the range, which delivers 130 CV.

For the moment only one diesel engine is offered, which produces 100 CV and can be paired with all the trim levels the brand offers. But a good set of engines is not enough, which is why Citroën offers a very competitive starting price. The new C4 Cactus will be available from 16,950 euros, placing it in the price range of many compacts it surpasses in both performance and size.
