This spectacular convertible has three axles and six wheels to tackle any terrain, along with a convertible rear section that makes a spectacular statement

If you’re one of those who craves intense thrills and loves truly demanding terrain, four wheels may not be enough for you. There are off-roaders that tackle those almost inaccessible places with an extra axle, leaving nothing able to resist their six wheels. There are vehicles like the Mercedes-Maybach G650, which has recently unveiled a convertible version.

Now, to take on this model, Kahn Design has presented a six-wheeled off-roader with a removable roof, to offer new experiences to its occupants. This is the Flying Hunstman 6×6 Soft Top, which adopts this configuration to be a real alternative to its most direct rival.

To create this model, Kahn Design looked to the Land Rover Defender 110, but added that third axle, which creates a truly spectacular look. Having previously presented several different versions, such as one with a double cab for greater passenger comfort and a fixed roof, this model goes a step further and turns this spectacular vehicle into something more glamorous, with a fabric roof that can be removed to leave the rear area open.

The model features a fixed roof at the front, covering the driver’s area and the rear seats, leaving the rear section exposed. A well-thought-out idea that keeps the driver and passengers comfortably protected, while allowing them to move to the rear to enjoy the open air if they prefer.

Although it is a version of the previous model, some further differences have been introduced, adding body elements that make a difference. Among them are air intakes in the front wings, a step to access the interior comfortably, and a redesigned rear section to adapt more aesthetically to its convertible capability. The 6.2-litre LS3 V8 engine delivers 430 CV of power. A car that is still in development and that the customization company expects to have ready for sale in a few months.
