New engines for the VW Jetta

Until now, the Volkswagen Jetta offered a somewhat limited range of engines, at least in petrol, a shortcoming that has been addressed with the arrival of new engines that extend the range up to 200 CV.
Until now, the only petrol engine available was the 1.2 TSI with 105 CV, alongside two diesels, the 1.6 TDI with 105 CV and the 2.0 TDI with 140 CV. Now the petrol 1.4 TSI with 122 CV and 160 CV are added, plus the powerful 2.0 TSI with 200 CV. All three engines can be paired with the Volkswagen DSG dual-clutch gearbox.
The 1.4 TSI with 122 CV has an average consumption of 6.2 l/100 km, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 202 km/h. Meanwhile, the 160 CV version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, with average consumption staying at 6.3 litres per 100 km. Finally, the powerful two-litre, 200 CV unit goes from 0 to 100 in just 7 seconds and reaches 238 km/h, all with an average consumption of 7.2 litres per 100 km.
