New special edition of the Fiat 500, the Vintage ’57

The 500 Vintage ’57 has been presented to the press, a new special edition that pays tribute to the Made in Italy icon of 1957. After its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the brand chose the Centro Storico Fiat in Turin to unveil the new 500 Vintage ’57 to the international press.
The new Vintage ’57 special edition is characterised by a retro look that recalls some of the historic vehicle’s distinctive features, such as the pastel blue body colour, now combined with white on the roof, spoiler, antenna and mirrors, and the tobacco-coloured or, as an alternative, cognac-coloured Poltrona Frau leather upholstery. It also brings back its 16-inch white and chrome alloy wheels.
The engine range remains as ever, starting with the small 1.2i 69 CV with manual or Dualogic gearbox and the 0.9 TwinAir with 105 CV paired with the six-speed manual gearbox for the most performance-oriented version. Buyers interested in diesel engines can choose the 1.3 Multijet with 95 CV and five-speed manual gearbox.

Its standard equipment is quite comprehensive, as shown by the manual or automatic air conditioning depending on the market. The Blu&Me hands-free system with Bluetooth technology, voice recognition, USB port and AUX connector, and ecoDrive software, the CD+MP3 car radio, ABS with EBD, seven airbags, the Start&Stop system and ESP with ASR/MSR, HBA and Hill Holder.
In short, this Made in Italy icon will delight enthusiasts, both of yesterday and today, appealing to everyone who enjoys driving and going anywhere at the wheel of a car full of charm, excitement and history.
