Beetle Volkswagen Convertibles Compact Range / versions
New Volkswagen Beetle, the beetle gets handsome

Although just a few hours ago we presented the Volkswagen Beetle Dune, now we have to talk again about the iconic German model. The Volkswagen Beetle is getting a makeover with this restyling to look more handsome and more masculine.
Since the launch of this latest generation in 2011, the beetle has stopped being a somewhat feminine-looking car. It hasn’t undergone a radical change to become a “tough” car, but its image is designed to attract a wider range of customers thanks to a sportier look.
Now, following the new update, the Volkswagen Beetle and Beetle Cabrio take a small step further toward sportiness, while keeping that charming essence it brought with it in the last century.
On the exterior, it features new front and rear bumpers and darkened rear light clusters. Additionally, we can choose from a wider range of colors for the bodywork and new types of wheels as options, so the customization possibilities for this new beetle increase.

In the cabin of the Beetle and Beetle Cabrio, there are also new options to configure it to our taste, thanks to new upholstery and optional packages offering different color contrasts.
As for the different versions, Volkswagen offers the appeal of the aforementioned Beetle Dune, although if the SUV trend isn’t for us, we have the option to opt for the R-Line trim, which the brand has decided to unify with the Sport line that was also sold until now. The R-Line comes standard with the Park Pilot parking assist.
This restyling does not introduce dynamic improvements, and its engine range remains the same as before: we can choose between three TFSI petrol versions, with 105, 150 and 220 hp, and two TDI diesel engines with 110 and 150 hp. Depending on the powertrain we choose, our Beetle or Beetle Cabrio can be paired with 5- and 6-speed manual gearboxes or the 6- and 7-speed DSG automatic gearboxes.
The starting price of the new Volkswagen Beetle is 21,330 euros, and 25,820 euros for the Beetle Cabrio.
