Nissan Leaf NISMO RC shows its face at the New York Auto Show

A few days ago Fernando told us about a rather curious racing vehicle, none other than the Nissan Leaf NISMO RC, a very curious vehicle that looks even more attractive and, above all, aggressive in these new photos taken live at the New York Auto Show

As Fernando explained to us at the time, this vehicle stands out for certain elements such as a carbon fibre monocoque and its lightweight body built in three parts, enough to homologate dimensions as impressive as a wheelbase 7.6 cm shorter, 17 cm wider, or even 35 cm lower than the standard Nissan Leaf.

On the other hand, it is worth highlighting, for example, its lithium-ion battery designed to power an electric motor capable of producing 107 hp as well as 207 lb-ft of torque, enough power to propel this small electric car from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.85 seconds or reach a top speed of 150 km/h.

Without further ado, here are the photos of this vehicle designed for racing competitions, such as a single-make electric cup. The truth is that it remains to be seen whether Nissan dares to take it on.
