Nissan Convertibles Electric Cars Concepts
Nissan Max-Out Electric Roadster, the new electric convertible prototype
This model is entirely conceptual and will not go into production; it is simply a design study to demonstrate what the brand is capable of offering.

The last convertible from Nissan to be seen was in 2019, when the Nissan 370Z Roadster was retired. Now a new convertible prototype arrives, named Max-Out. This conceptual model is not new: it was already shown as a virtual vehicle in 2021. What is new is that it has left the screens and become a real vehicle, which has featured at an event dedicated to design and sustainability.
That said, although it has now been seen in physical form, the brand has not released any information about it. This means it exists, but beyond its design we do not know the car’s characteristics. We can see that it offers a considerable sense of freedom thanks to its open roof, and the brand assures that the conceptual model delivers an intense and enjoyable driving experience.

The car is certainly an interesting design exercise. The grille is closed and appears to function like a screen. This treatment also seems to be present on the wheels, which appear to project an image that enhances the sense of movement. It has long, fluid lines with smooth curves that give it a very dynamic look.

NISSAN MAX-OUT ROADSTER
The windscreen is quite minimalist, and its rear wants to mimic the front, to continue the same design line. The futuristic design is repeated inside, with two individual seats and floor mats that create an optical illusion. Not very practical, but very eye-catching for a prototype.
The steering wheel is yoke-shaped, and the large screen dominating the dashboard combines the instrument panel with the multimedia display, reinforcing the bold, futuristic image that is evident throughout the car. It will not go into production, but it will probably serve as inspiration for some of the future electric models that the Japanese brand plans for the near future.
