Nissan Note Aura Nismo 2022, the small hybrid from Nissan gets a facelift for next year

The second half of the year is characterized by brands already unveiling their upcoming new models for the following year. In the case of Nissan, the new Nissan Note Aura Nismo 2022 has just been presented, an update of this small model from the Japanese brand that aims to be on the market in 2022. And it will do so with striking visual changes and a touch of sportiness to enhance the driving experience.

Nismo models have a very pronounced sporty character, and in this case it is an addition inspired by the world of Formula E racing, with elements taken from the competition vehicle. To begin with, we find a Nismo diffuser with red details.

The look is reinforced by 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels, as well as red-colored mirror caps. The side skirts are in the same color, and the rear presents a very dynamic appearance thanks to a completely new diffuser and bumper, designed specifically for this variant.

Inside, there are some variations to the original design, as the seats have been replaced with sportier ones. The upholstery is a combination of synthetic leather and fabric and features an embroidered NISMO logo and decorative trim in the same red seen on the exterior.

There are no changes in the drivetrain. It is equipped with the same e-Power system, made up of a 1.2-litre combustion engine that works as a generator powering two electric motors. Together, they deliver 134 CV of power and a maximum torque of 300 Nm.

To keep driving under control, three driving modes are offered: Normal, ECO and NISMO mode, designed to deliver maximum performance on the road, track and in the city. Other features include an improved suspension, as well as better management of aerodynamic load, so driving this model will be a real pleasure. That said, we do not have other details such as the price or market launch information.
