Nissan Qashqai and X-Trail: the best-selling SUVs from the Japanese brand
The Nissan Qashqai and X-Trail are positioned as the best-selling SUVs on the market. They offer a value for money that earns them this distinction.

If there is one vehicle type in our market that can be considered a fashionable segment, it is undoubtedly the SUV. This category can already be classed as long-established in the motoring world, since they have been with us since practically the beginning of the century. These vehicles stand out for their remarkable versatility and off-road capabilities, but some stand out more than others. This is the case with the Nissan SUVs, more specifically the Qashqai and the X-Trail.
Both vehicles have proven to be among the most efficient in their segment, and this is reflected in the high sales volumes they achieve. In fact, the Japanese brand has sold more than 300,000 crossovers over the last ten years and, during 2017 alone, sold more than 47,000. Without a doubt, these are very notable figures that benefit the brand positively. However, it is worth highlighting some of the elements that make both the Qashqai and the X-Trail so attractive.
The two Nissan SUVs have experienced considerable growth compared with last year, specifically 13.7% for the Qashqai and 24.6% for the X-Trail. This is due to the excellent balance both models offer in terms of value for money. Furthermore, we must also take into account the renewed design, both exterior and interior, that both SUVs feature. Their innovations have been a real revolution for the two models, as they bring significant improvements.

Their exterior design is characterised by clean, sharp lines, something very common in Japanese vehicles. This means both SUVs have better aerodynamics and a more aggressive, sporty design. At the same time, the interior has received important improvements, both in the infotainment system and in the overall design of the cabin, specifically in the seats, whose ergonomics have been considerably improved.
But this is not the only attractive point of the Japanese SUVs; their prices are too. The Qashqai starts from 17,900 euros, making it one of the most competitive prices on the market. The bigger sibling, the X-Trail, is available from 22,900 euros. It is true that the difference between the two is not large, but what they deliver for the price is considerable.

Without a doubt, Nissan has managed to produce an excellent product in terms of practicality, as both offer a very good balance between all the elements they provide. This helps both SUVs position themselves as the number one in their segment and they are most likely to continue with the same success in the coming years.
