Now, the first real photos of the 2011 Toyota Yaris

For a few months now we have been speculating about the next generation of the Toyota Yaris, with some rendered images of the new model, but now the time has come to land in the real world and offer you real photos of the new generation.

Examining the new photos, the first thing that stands out is that the grille is a little different from the renders, although, pending more data or last-minute changes, this detail could well be exclusive to the Japanese model (as in the photo). It is neither as pronounced nor as angular, and the truth is that this small touch-up has been enough to improve the look the car is trying to project, and it would not hurt to have it on the models to be sold outside Japan.

Otherwise the car looks the same as the images we have been seeing, and Toyota has shown no sign of adding or changing anything in the data that has been leaking. The Yaris will keep the engines already mentioned, a 1.0-litre and a 1.3-litre, along with the technology expected for fuel saving.
